Interview with Mohammad Hossein Adib

The result of your words is that if the world economy proceeds with the same decree, China will become the first economic superpower in the world and the actions of Obama and Trump have not been successful?
Adib: Yes, only the tone of Trump's speech was different, but the performance of both was the same

What should the United States do if it wants to prevent China from becoming the world's first economic superpower? And with what index can it be measured?

Adib: The US current account balance should not be negative, or if it is negative, it should not be negative from the Chinese channel.

You subtly say that having a negative current account can not be a problem, but this borrowing should not come from China.

Adib: Yes

More bluntly than the US current account deficit channel, China is replacing the US in the global economy

Adib: China's current account deficit is a reliable channel for China to become the first economic superpower.

Adib: Neither candidate has a plan for China, the US winner is China and Japan, and the loser is Trump and Biden.

Will the United States finally accept China as a superpower?

Adib: The main investment in China in the last twenty years has been by American investors. Any weakening of China will weaken the American companies that have invested in China, and these are a big obstacle.

How do you assess the future of Sino-US relations as well as the future of Iran-US relations?

Adib: In the next four years, the focus of US foreign policy will be on controlling China, and in the last four years, US foreign policy has been "Iran-centered." This period ended with the US election. In the next eight years, US foreign policy will be "China-centered."

What does it mean for China to focus on US foreign policy?

Adib: This means that politics in the world is entering a new paradigm. We should wait for the super crisis in East Asia.
